What are FAANG stocks?

FAANG refers to the market’s five most popular tech stocks: Facebook (FB), Apple (AAPL), Amazon (AMZN.O), Netflix (NFLX), and Alphabet’s Google (GOOG). As of Oct. 30, 2018, the market capitalization of these companies summed up to $1.93 trillion.
FAANG stocks have an enormous impact as a collective whole.
